Youth digital Contribution; On this day 12 August of each year, an international youth day is celebrated world wide. On this year’s international Youth Day the theme is “From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development”

Quality Education

Quality education is a necessary infrastructure for attaining all potential that are in a person. It is necessary for youth to receive quality education that facilitates the nurturing and extraction of the potential that is in them.

Sustainable Economic Growth

On this aspect young people are the working force in all countries of the World. They have in them a lot of potential to be realized. They need opportunities to realize their dreams. But where there are not opportunities the rest in the community should simply encourage them. When encouraged they are capable of creating opportunities.

Employment Opportunities

Employment opportunities ensure an individual of a source of income. Through such opportunities youth can create an employment opportunity for themselves and for their community. Once again they need support and encouragement from the elders in the society.

Build Resilient Infrastructure

Youth are full of energy but at times they lack patience. This is one among important skills that modern youth need to learn. Today’s youth are full of knowledge and technical know how consequently they want things to happen. The fact that they are pregnant with knowledge blinds them to think that things will just happen. They need to create a sense of patience for success in life.

Sustainable Industrialization

Economies need to invest in industries. The industries will in turn create opportunities for many young people to be employed. Through those industries, youth should be empowered so as to awaken their imagination skills to build sustainable activities that will keep on employing future youth, future generations.

Reduce Inequality

Inequality is one among the causes of poverty in the world. To realize equality amongst individuals governments are called to create equal playground for all to experiment their skills and talents. Jean Jacques Rousseau on the cause of inequality argued on introduction to private property as the source of inequality in the society. The argument of Rousseau is true but can one imagine a world without property, one would say we would get used to the situation.

While it is difficulty to live without some amount of property let the world and more especially the youth think of having moderate property to meet necessities without causing others to go with nothing as it is the current situation.

Peace Promotion for Development

In our modern World Youth digital contribution is enormous and it has reached a point that has never been reached before. Youth can create apps which have multiple useful application in our modern world. Young people are capable of creating almost anything logical to human mind.

That being the case, nations should encourage these creators to come up with programs that promote more peace than war and conflicts in the World. For instance instead of creating drones for combat; they could create drones only for distributing facilities to the needy.

Access to Justice

Youth digital contribution should also aim at assisting the population attain justice in life. The youth digital contribution should be directed to the people in need of obtaining the rights. This should address the rural people as they could so much be in needy and yet nobody is there to assist them.

In a World where justice reigns there could be no conflicts nor wars as the world is witnessing now. The wars we are witnessing now should be experienced at given the level of development the human brain has attained. Youth digital contribution and all the human brain should aim at finding solution to the current wars we are witnessing in the World.
